| 1. Don't be rude. This site is for discussion. Consistent ugliness to others will result in warnings and possibly, a permanent ban. Yes, different people have different styles, but pointed, intentional meanness cannot be defended as a personal communicative style and in extreme cases, the staff may judge that a particular user cannot stay here. 2. Think before you post, especially if you are upset when you are writing a post. Editing spelling/grammar is allowed. Deleting posts or severely editing the meaning of your post disrupts the flow of threads and makes other posts confusing, therefore it is strictly forbidden. 3. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ANNOY, INTIMIDATE OR UPSET DANIELLA - IT IS FORBIDDEN. 5. Personal attacks are not permitted. Address the issue, not the person you're debating with. 6. Post no illegal and/or objectional material. This includes copywrited material, libellous material, pornography (photos or computer generated or drawings), links to porn (again, photos, cg or drawings) sites or links to sites which in any way condone illegal activities. 7. Plaguerism is against the law and it's against our rules as well. 8. No recruiting. You may not approach people here to join causes or groups or use their e-mail addresses or the PM system here to solicit people for your cause or suggest that they be your paying or non-paying clients. For example, offering people hypnotic regression or a membership in your group for free is still recruiting/spamming and it never allowed. 9. No spamming. You may not advertise here other than posting one link in our 'links' thread. Regular members may participate in a banner/link exchange with other sites. All decisions as to what constitutes the breaking of rules rest with the staff. A site has to have staff members who make judgements about objectionable postings based on the community standards of that particular site. This is a general discussion site open to all, children sometimes visit this site and those are things the staff keeps in mind. Rudeness, chronic ugliness to others, what constitutes a personal attack or objectionable material are somewhat subjective. Therefore, warnings to posters about breaking these rules and seeing their posts deleted will come with an explanation from the staff and usually, a second chance. Removing one's own posts, plaguerism, recruiting, posting illegal material and advertising (spamming) are far less subjective but rule-breakers will receive an explanation, possibly a second chance. |
