Did we land on the moon? (video)

I always thought conspiracy theories about NASAs moon landing were a bit crackpot, but the evidence put forth in this documentary is quite compelling...

I have not had a chance to play videos, but we landed on the moon, only to be told by the aliens living there to make our trips short and don't comeback.

You notice that we did not go back to the moon for many years and was not talked about.

Gus Grissom was rumored to be purposely killed in the Apollo fire, because he was getting ready to tell the American people about alien activity.
It was rumored he could not handle the lie anymore.

In February 2000, Grissom's family accused NASA of murder with support of some NASA workers who worked on the project.

The moon has an big alien population, esprcially on the dark side.

I think we did land on the moon as well, but that the footage supposedly taken on the moon was faked afterwards (or already before) because of what they found there.
Because the footage is fake, the conspiracy theorists say we didn't land there, but the one doesn't have to rule out the other.

And what about that laser reflector they put up there which they still use to measure the distance? People with good telescopes can view the moon and certainly see some of the stuff they left behind.

Some people even say that the Germans went to the moon already in the 40's

I haven't seen the vids yet, but i have seen similar documentaries, and i think the moon landing is a goldmine for conspiracy theorists, there are many things you can point out which might be true, but don't rule out a moon landing. The footage might be fake, but why would every moon mission be so?

I've heard it a billion times, the footage is fake, ergo, the whole moonlanding is fake. Why would that be? Every theory that would point out that it's fake can be debunked. They've landed on mars now, why wouldn't they be able to land on the moon back then? Or are the Spirit and rover fakes as well?

Having said that, i'm going to watch it now. Maybe it will convince me. But i doubt it...

And my opinion is still the same. The evidence against a moon lannding lies in the footage. Most of it anyway. The footage might be fake, but does that proof anything?

More everything put together makes the whole thing 'iffy' - but the lighting with shadows from various sources, and also the radiation poisoning thing - I remember it said that to protect humans from radiation in the van allen belt they should have had 6 feet of lead lining the capsule - instead it was just a thin shell of light material, but none of the astronauts came back with radiation poisoning.

The photos were definately doctored - a lack of stars, and the cross hairs from the camera appeared behind some of the elements in the photos instead of in front. Whether or not the just faked pics because the real ones had aliens in them...I dunno.

There's another documentary i recently saw where they said that the bg in the pictures was edited because of the things they saw there, like buildings etc. I'll try to find it.

Do you think only the first moonlanding was fake or that they all were faked?

I definately believe people went to the moon. How and when i don't know.

I'm sure someone could take a look at the moon from an earth or space based telescope and end all the mysteri. But maybe we'll never know.

Yeah I agree about the telescope. Well, I guess if the first was faked, maybe the others were too - or maybe they used alternative technology to what they really told us about?

I was reading a bit about Ken Johnson.

The former manager of the Data and Photo Control Department at NASA’s Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the manned Apollo Lunar Program, Ken Johnston, has released quite a number of sensational statements recently in the USA. The specialist said that U.S. astronauts found ancient ruins of artificial origin and a previously unknown technology to control gravitation when then landed on the Moon. Astronauts took pictures of the objects that they found, but NASA ordered Johnston to destroy the images. Johnston did not follow the order. He said that the U.S. government had been keeping this information a secret for 40 years.

Johnston's startling Apollo allegations have recently appeared in a new book, "Dark Mission: the Secret History of NASA," co-authored by former NASA consultant and CBS Science Advisor, Richard C. Hoagland and Mike Bara, an aerospace engineering consultant.
According to Kay Ferrari, JPL Director of the SSA Program (in a phone call to Johnston last week), it was Johnston "being quoted [as] criticizing NASA in Hoagland's new book, 'Dark Mission,'" that prompted her to ask for Johnston's resignation from the SSA Program. When Johnston refused, citing First Amendment protections of free speech afforded all NASA employees, even those at JPL, Ferrari apparently decided to remove him arbitrarily from the SSA Program this week without cause.

Dr. Ken Johnston, former Manager of the Data and Photo Control Department at NASA's Lunar Receiving Laboratory during NASA's manned Apollo Lunar Program, was abruptly terminated Tuesday morning, October 23rd, from JPL's prestigious "Solar System Ambassador" (SSA) Program. All evidence of Dr. Johnston's exemplary 4-year participation in the NASA outreach effort to "communicate the importance of NASA aerospace programs to the public around the world" has been scrubbed from the official JPL SSA website, without formal notification of Dr. Johnston as to cause.

It is frustrating to me when someone who wasn’t even born when we went to the Moon tries to claim that we never went there, because it is impossible for an astronaut in a space suit to crawl through the door in the lunar module. I can speak from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. I was one of the 5 test pilots for the Grumman Aerospace Corporation that built the Lunar Module where I had the privilege of helping to develop the procedures for ingress and egress of the LM. I wore the complete Apollo space suit assembly and made many trips in and out of the front hatch and have lots of NASA photographs and films of me doing just that.

Could the rumor that the moon landing never happened deliberately be made by NASA because of all the things they found on the moon?
It's my personal opinion. Moon landings did happen, but can't be shown through documents and footage because of the secrets of the moon.

Here is another interesting documentary about supposedly alien life on the moon and that it would be the reason NASA never returned.
Again, i think we went to the moon and the conspiracy started because the truth as to what is up there was cover up and footage was edited.

The thing which I think gives this idea some support, Crafth, is how over the decades, many astronomers have seen weird lights on the moon and structures which seem to come and go.

Mary, that's interesting. The weirdest thing is that we, mankind, presume to know what happened at the big bang, what's outside our milky-way, we know about exoplanets and so on. But our own moon? huhhh... what? We don't know!

LOL Would you believe that I found that image in amongst genuine UFO pictures at the Courier Mail - God knows how it ended up in there!

Anyway - I'm convinced that if we don't understand too much about this planet, how it developed, and how we developed - what chance have we got of getting it 'right' about other planets, Stars, Moons etc?

Crafth, Ben, good point! We have a solid scientific theory about the origin of the universe, yet there's something fishy about the plain little moon. We have the origin of humans figured, but up pop new hominids and the suggestion people make have been building henges and mining gold 200,000 years ago. The cradle of civilization was in Iraq 5,000 years ago, but we have a lot of strong suggestions there were civilizations long before.

The chance that we get it right about other planets, the moon, the origin of mankind etc is getting smaller and smaller, the more we find out. Which is very confusing. I feel that eventhough i've read and studied more on this kind of things then the average person, almost everyone (including us and all the bright minds who have done so much research) is totally ignorant about the real truth. It's almost frustrating. There's something out there which we never seem to be able to reach out to. The answer i feel is so close and yet so far away. You know what i mean?

I think I do, Crafth and then, to add to our confusion, stories come out about how someone hid something about history or scientific fact. Then we wonder what things are "true" about history, science and what parts are false, misleading stories.

Yes, and that can make you doubt literally everything!

I was thinking today about how much of reality we actually are able to observe.
Like:
Light, we only are able to see a small part of the total light specter.
Sound, we only perceive a small part of the total sound specter.

The biggest part of our reality comes to us through sound and light (vision, sight), yet we only catch so little of its totality! We can think all we want, but we still miss out on the biggest part of reality because we are not able to see it or hear it.
